Christopher Robert Evans is an American actor. He started his acting career by playing roles in television series, such as in Opposite Sex in the year 2000. The actor gained acclaim for his character as Human Torch, the Marvel Comics superhero, in Fantastic Four (2007) and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2008). Evans was also featured in movie versions of comics and graphic novels TMNT (2007), Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009), Snowpiercer (2003). Evans' portrayal as Captain America/Steve Rogers in Captain America: The Winter Soldier in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014 and 2015), Captain America: Civil War (2016) and Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Endgame 2019, brought him more acceptance. He was one of the most highly paid actors around the globe because of his work for the Marvel series.
