Rosalia Vila is Rosalia Vila is a Spanish flamenco and pop singer. As a teenager she was involved both in traditional and popular music. But, her musical interests have expanded to include soul, hip-hop and hip-hop. Her voice is said by no less an artist than the flamenco musician Pepe Habichuela as sweet and sharp, but with a bite like the old ones. El Mal Querer was her major commercial and critical breakthrough in the year 2018. Following the release of Los Angeles garnered her attention and earned her a Latin Grammy Nomination for Best New Artist, it topped Billboard's Latin Pop Albums and she received the Grammy. In 2021, her song La Fama with The Weeknd was released. The third album by Motomami offered songwriting collaborations with many artists and producers including Cory Henry and James Blake. The set was launched following Saturday Night Live's show Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia was the first Spanish singer to perform solo on the show. Motomami's Rosalia, who won the Latin Album of the Year and three Latin Grammy Awards in total for Motomami was also the first female to win one.
